there are some great options out there with carbon fiber/ e glass, that can be done with a small vacuum pump. we do layups here that cure at room temp under like 20 psi.

I would buy it.

It's the perfect intake for those of us that plan to go FI. Cheap enough(?) so you dont have to blow big bucks on something that your ditching anyways.
