Cleared out my headlights....
It all started when I decided to install my cooling plate. I ended up taking off the front bumper to remove a piece and before I knew it, I was clearing out my headlights. No better way to spend thanksgiving weekend. Enjoy! My Honda emblem and license plate hole covers are removed in the pic. My clear sidemarkers are in the mail; can't wait!
There are more pics but they are gigantic.
I ADDED MORE PHOTOS; 121 AND 122 ARE SHOTS OF LIGHTS ON AT NIGHT!
You can see them at this website:

Yeah I took the whole trim out, taped up the chrome ring around the projector and painted the whole trim flat black. It looks really good/clean IMO. If I were to do it again, I hope I never have to, I would spray the parking light and turn signal harness black too because they show a little bit.
My friend has a Silver Evo: black wheels, Black tint, etc. We baked his headlights, removed the orange/chrome trim pieces, painted it black. It looks MEAN! Really clean. I decided to go the same route.
I want to paint my stockers gunmetal or black, or get new rims(black/gunmetal) in the spring time.

It does look mean....but it does look like something is missing in the headlight. There's just too much "nothing-ness" in the turn signal area.
I suggest maybe putting back the reflector...the orange may look really different in front of a black "reflector". If you don't like the orange, maybe going with a Rick's clear deflector would fill the space in yet giving you the "all black" look.
Just a thought.
