Very nice! I was sold on ricks leather w/ red stitching, but now... alcantra ain't lookin' bad! I'm getting the CR door as well: nice taste!

It all depends on what other materials will be in your interior. Alcanatara goes better with more alcantara or cloth materials. If you plan on keeping OEM seats and the interior with mostly leather, you may want to stick with leather as it'd match your interior better.

My interior will eventually be all alcantara/cloth as I don't like leather most of the time in car interiors.

I just used a tap + die set to make the shift pattern line up straight and didn't even need to use the locking nut afterwards.
