Sweet! That is all I can say...it looks terrific! That damn carpet was probably my biggest complaint of the car...especially putting it on the console. Ack!

Anyway, just wanted to say that if you are on the fence, just go for it. It's a terrific piece...adds a very nice touch of class to the interior.

Thanks, Rick...another happy customer!

once you've seen an S2k with the console cover on, you really can't stand the sight of the carpet over the console. Its a *must*!

I didn't have any trouble taking the stereo door off, I had taken it off once before so I knew how to slip it out. Yes, Schatten, it IS a must...big BIG improvement!

Hey Rick, what kind of tape is that? I could put that to use in a few other situations around the house. Thanks again, it compliments my RH shift boot beautifully!

What color is it Greg? And why did it take you so long getting around to doing it?

BTW. I may as well ask another question...
Have you tried the Voodoo short shift knob? I think it would be perfect for use on the track if you're looking for quicker shifting. (If you haven't tried one yet, borrow one for an hour when the Asheville meet comes around.)

Hey, Greg, I'm really glad you're happy with the cover. I can't remember where I got the tape, but I'll check with Townsend, since I had a whole box of the stuff sent to them. All I know is that it holds its tack under wide temperature and humidity extremes and was designed for carpet, which is why we got it.

1Y2KS2K, I waited until now for the cover mainly because by the time I got around to getting it, the season was just about over and I didn't want to put more cash into the car since I wouldn't be driving it. So when Rick offered the returned covers for 60 dollars, I said WTF and went ahead and got a black/black. And it looks absolutely fine...the complaint was the grain of the leather...I am fine with it.

I haven't tried a Voodoo shifter, I do have the Ti Honda shifter tho. I love it. I would love to switch with someone at S2KDays. Good idea...

And thanks, Rick, let me know what that tape is...I appreciate it!
