they are very strong before i got hit..my car's hamp oil filter blew a seal at thunderhill and white smoke was everywhere...drained the oil at the track refilled and drove it home about 150 miles :-)....Honda
My prelude is 11 years old and still runs like a champ. It was actually totalled when a lady hit me in traffic and we bought it back from the insurance company and rebuilt everything. Good as new!!
