daddy's new shoes
i know im going to regret this later on in life, but i'm going to have to agree with you, wrs2k, to a certain extent.
the exhaust, while superably crafted and fitted, sticks out further than i'd like. which is why i was at the shop today to have them plan on shortening it and make it more flush with the rear bumper. it's an semi custom invidia set up made out of the invidia bpipe and a single invidia muffler. the connecting parts were custom bent via mandrel stainless steel. the piping looks quite nice and almost 'titanium-ish', but i agree it doesnt fit my style.
the blue lugs, though they may be rays (whooptie doo) really look bright in the pictures i have taken. in person, they are quite a bit darker. i have been toying with the idea of powdercoating them black but i need to sucker my friend into letting me borrow his oven for i enjoy making food in mine.
the carbon fiber lip was a disaster. the first day i had it on the car, i cracked it while rolling out of the driveway. i have had other front fascias that were made from FRP, urethane, and carbon covered glass that lasted much longer, so i believed that this lip wouldve lasted a bit longer. i was wrong.
my 31st birthday is right around the corner and i'll admit that i'm getting old. my views on modifying cars has changed dramatically since i was 18. i'm trying to acheive that 'clean' look, but no matter what i do to the car, it's still a honda.
so wrs2k, thank you for your comments, but i beg you to please try to make them less inflamatory. freedom of speech is one thing, but when you hurt other people's feelings, it's another. i think you'll make more friends that way.
oh and one more thing..
