Default Decided that it was time to..

What's up guys I recently decided to paint my stock rims. The people i bought the car from painted them black and did horrible. The paint was chipping off and they looked really bad. So I decided to re-do them and here is how they came out:

Car jacked up and rims off:

One primered and one with the first coat:

and here they are finished and cleared:

Let me know what you think. Thanks

took them off and used acid to clean them. make sure all of the dirt and grime is off. then sanded them and primed them. then sanded again and then applied first coat.

looks good, ive done mine twice. just clean and spray and its lasted longer than i expected with minimal chipping. just plain rustoleum flat black. just please get some black lugs and black center caps, drives me crazy to see black wheels with the stock silver lugs and caps. i know its personal taste but...

Yeah looks like a smoked chrome/deep metallic bronze... Like it

I did this to my Xterra years ago and have not had any issues with them.. I didn't even prime just sanded and sprayed flat black... For the S I am thinking going white...

I may take a few days and paint them first, if I like it get them powder coated over the winter...
