Default DIY Alumilite Front splitter

Just Figured Id share the Pics of the splitter I recently made. Total cost was about $120 but have enough material for 2 more. And the plus side is you can shape it to any bumper edge, also I extended it under the rad support to guide air into the intercooler and radiator. Enjoy

sorry lol anything you want to know just ask. if you really want one ill make you one for just the cost of materials. no money in my pocket, as i like to just screw around with stuff. If you are interested in making it yourself you will need a sheet of alumilite wich is usually sold in 4x8 sheets and is extremely strong and very very light. you will also need edgeing that i purchased from mcmaster carr for roughly 10-15 dollars and just nuts bolts and washers and of course tools wich were a drill and a jigsaw. also i forgot to mention this does bolt to the factory mounting lip location

Awesome! My car was involved in a hit and run recently and I was thinking about doing something like this for my car with APR lip. Never knew about Aluminite, where did you buy it from? Was it difficult to cut with a Jig Saw?

^Thanks for the info! Unfortunately I am really far from you (westcoast of Canada ), otherwise I would take you up on your offer of making one for me or perhaps buy some of your leftover material!
