DIY: LED Dash Controls
Thanks guys. Well the only ones that can be a little distracting at night are the fan indicators mostly. You sure can see them out of the corner of your eye, but it didnt really bother me much. I honestly dont have to much electronics experience, and plus im only 18. I just did these for fun just to see how hard it is. The main thing you need to know how to do is how to solder for these.
This set is in the works right now. I painted them Silverstone Metallic. Not perfect but they look good. These will have a blue background, white fan indicators, white A/C indicator, and red recirculation indicator.

Does anyone know if the buttons "audio control" "Mute" "Vol" and "CH" light up when they are stock?? I thought it was only the starter button??
edit: Nevermind, just found out there are two settings for the intensity of the lights haha

Looks great but why go to all the trouble when you can just buy these?

Yeah I thought about it. (notice if you look at the last pages of that thread i've been posting for a while on there talking about doing this, and even updated it today.) Plus I wanted to do all the indicators, not just the backlights like in that thread. I didnt want to pay $3 for each bulb to do all the backlights, and find different ones for the indicators also.
