I kinda feel like splitter would serve little purpose in this application. The lip looks like it functions as a splitter of sorts already. It may not extend underneath the car like an actual splitter, but with it being a street car I'm not sure it really matters.

In the aesthetics dept, a splitter with that lip might look a little strange, especially with the way it curves up in the middle.

i made the sides out of 1/4 in black abs plastici think i made them aprox. 3.5 in wide, ill take some better pics of their profile
