"The Driver's Mecca II?"
mattxx, Best vid of this type I have ever watched! Very well done and loved the music. The nearest event in USA to
running the German Nurburgring Nordschleife is the semi-annual 270-mile Arkansas Boston Mountain Tours held early Spring
and late Fall for the past 5-years. These very spirited all day driving events are co-sponsored by S2KI (Ark-La-Tex thread)
and S2KCA (Dallas-Ft Worth thread). These free events usually draw around 40 cars from six states and are not limited only to
Honda S2000 & NSX cars. I had my '02 S2k modified with Comptech S/C & A/C (7 psi pullley), Berk HF Cat, Front Air Dam (AL),
Rear Diffuser (AL), and AP2 wheels/225 front-255 rear tires to be able to keep pace in the fastest of the three BMT groups.
If you produce a DVD of your Nurburgring video, I would certainly purchase one!

Hey Moore, thanks for the info! I'm actually from Dallas and plan on returning within a few years. My biggest fear that saddens me the most is the lack of an equivalent place that can replace the 'Ring for me while I'm back in the States. With this info about the Arkansas Boston Mountain Tours, I'll look into it and hopefully look forward to it when I get back. I love the mountain. You are too nice about buying a DVD!
Spectactular, rivaled the driving scenes and music in “Grand Prix”, loved the piano, kinda missed some WOT engine sounds which are also “music to our ears”. Hope when completed, this is available to us.
Fan "damn" tastic. I didn't regret one moment of that 30 plus minute video. I'm jealous and happy at the same that you were able to come away with a greater appreciation for the whole experience. I've raced, done track days, and the like. And for a long time I didn't appreciate it until it was over. I missed it something fierce when the realization came, not just the racing, but like you said, the experience. The comraderie of being with friends, the travel and the laughter. All of it makes the experience whole and complete.
6 days away from picking up my car and driving it back across the nation. I figure by the time I get back we'll intimate enough to go to a track day.
Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate your complements gogetta. Actually, after reading your soliloquy there... I shed a little tiny tear. You actually gave me a new idea for the next possible short video when we return back to the Mecca this Sept 2nd-4th. Thanks so much and good luck with your car! Just give it time and you'll bond strongly with it.
