"The Driver's Mecca II?"
I thought your video was going to be boring after I saw it for a few minutes. But it wasn't. I really enjoyed it after I got the idea. I especially enjoyed your enthusiasm, and that you were friendly on the track.
Thanks for the nice video!
Can you tell us some more about the "Porsche Line"? What makes it different from the traditional line?

Absolutely amazing!!! Of course the trip must have been a blast but that video was THE BEST track video I have ever seen by far! It wasn't just laps around the track, the video conveyed exactly how you would feel if you were in the driver's seat. I had no problems watching all of it and when it ended your just left speechless in awe! Im very jealous of your experience at the track and maddd props for the video skills!!!
LOL I watched it again last night, shared it with my girl. I hope the next one is just as good, if not better. Glad I could contribute something to the brainstorming process. Looking forward to it.
False, it is still a bit of a mystery to me but what I know is that in many of the harder rounder turns such as some of the hairpins, I was told to "turn in early" which makes the car end up on the inside for the majority of the curve or turn until you track out. It looks like he wants to be next to the inside curb before the apex. Doing this of course requires the correct speed and maybe doesn't seem as fast as something else turning in late and hard, hitting a late apex and coming out of the turn with the max possible speed. That late hard turn in is what I suspect to be bad with MR cars in that weight is transferred to the rear to one side or both while accelerating out in addition to the weight of the engine already there. Combine this with powerful RWD and the lightened front end as the weight moves. Taking the early turn and inside is good for defending the "racing line" and what I believe is keeping the car as neutral as possible, balancing the weight for proper front and rear grip. (Less abrupt weight transfer, more smooth transition as a MR goes through the turn at a steady rate) I hope I don't sound crazy. I'm just telling it as I saw and heard. I notice that you're in Frankfurt. I'm going back to the Mecca Sept 2-4. Want to meet up? Thanks for your compliments too, False.
Dave, wow that was almost too much! You're over-exaggerating huh. Thank you very much. I'm glad you saw it the way you did.
Gogetta, did she like it? My wife can't exactly sit still through it and I understand where she's coming from.

Thanks for the information on the "Porsche Line."
Yes, sure. I'm not yet 100% sure if I can make it, but if so, I'll be there on Saturday, Sept 3. My S2K is easy to recognize in Germany, because it's RHD (I got it from England) :-)

I was tucking her in for bed (she gets up earlier I). I don't know if she gets it like I do... But I thought it would be a great way for her to go sleep... good flick, me lying next to her, and a warm bed. She missed the best part though... the end when you explain how you felt after a long day... Don't worry I'll get her express opinion soon. # day left til' I'm to Philly and begin the drive home to Cali.
