It was nice meeting you guys today. Unfortunately, I couldn't find you anymore after lunch; I hope you had a nice day.

Here comes my picture:

You should have come with us to lunch—we saw Sabine Schmitz there :-)

Here are some pictures from Tourifotos.de:

Benedict, I am so sorry! I assure you we came back and stuck around for hours until the track closed. I couldn't find you either. Next time we will trade numbers.
Thanks for the picture too!

Be careful out there. If you didn't hear, somebody was killed in a car crash there on Sunday. The person was launched 20 meters into the forest and was dead before the medics arrived. Alcohol and no seat belts were involved... Last Sunday a biker was killed so thats two in two weeks.

We also met up with SLracer - Kyle. It really felt like S2Ki was an international community. From the States, U.K., and Germany we all met together for some nice driving.

Oh, that is horrible. But I don't get it how people drive on the ring when wasted.

You guys were probably on the track. I only came back to the parking lot for a few minutes, and then I went to see the cars go round the track from two other spots. But there were so many wasps everywhere that we left pretty early.

Let me know when you come to the ring again :-)

Matt, I just met Dave Walgrave on a chance meeting with another friend in Arizona and watched the video. Amazing driving and video! I hope the 'Ring gets bailed out so the rest of us might have a chance to experience what you did!

This is so late but WOW! How crazy is that? I'll have to ask him about his time in AZ and thanks.

Driver's Mecca II?

I have a sequel kind of. It may be more of a stand alone video but it 'was' my attempt of getting that same high, having the same wonderful experience I had the very first time at the 'Ring. From this though, I learned that every moment is unique and that I shouldn't try to forcefully recreate something. Instead, it is best to enjoy every moment for what it is.
