Default DSLR Owners - Post up your pics!

I'm looking to get a digital slr camera and I'm pondering on either getting a canon 10D, 300D, or Nikon D70. The 10D kit I could get for around $850, and then the D70 body with batteries + everything else besides the lens would be $675. As for the 300D, I'd just have to find a good deal online.

Right now I own a Canon PowerShot A70 which isn't a bad camera at all, but I'm sort of limited to what I can do with it. I've always liked Canon and have heard tons of good reviews, so I don't know if I should go with the 10D or D70 (or 300D to save some money from getting a 10D). I've seen pictures, and I like the way they come out better on Canons, but then again, it was pictures of pointless stuff such as candy or statues. I'm mainly gonna be taking pictures of cars and situations with low lighting such as parking garages, so it would be great if you posted up some of those pics. Thanks

Here's 3 shrunken down pics taken with my Digital Rebel. The 10D should produce almost exactly the same shots ... I now have a Canon 20D, and I love it!

These were all taken with the 18-55mm kit lens too. I now have much better lenses with my 20D and the difference in quality is quite noticeable.

The first one has also been cropped...

There's a ton of more pictures from my sig. Most of the recent ones are with the 20D, and most of the ones from last spring/summer are with the Rebel.

The D70 is a great value too but it has some drawbacks versus the Canon and vice versa. Good luck with your purchase!

Heres a few pics from my 20d, awesome camera. The first 3 were taken with the canon 50mm f/1.8 and the last 2 were the kit lens

I've been in the same boat for a while. Finally decided on the 300D (haven't purchased yet). I just can't justify paying more for the D70 when the rebel is so cheap right now (and the 20D is out of my price range, but is actually my favorite of the lot).

Buydig/Beach camera are the cheapest reliable sources I've found (~$795 before rebates). There's a couple of ways to go about it. I think what I'll probably do is buy the rebel with two lenses (rebates total $390) and then ebay the two lenses. Should bring the cost of the camera down to around or below $600. Figure there's a little bit of risk, but worst case scenario is that I get stuck with a lens that I got a great price on.

Just remember, the rebate deals end January 31st. However, there is the expectation that canon will annouce a new version of the rebel in february.

I was always a firm believer in "It's not about about who has the best camera, but who has the best photoshop skills." (obviously from the mouth of one who cannot afford a good DSLR )

Taken with a crappy non SLR camera:
