Been there and done the same as you ! Took the front left corner out ! One question, which you may not know, what is the pump looking thing at the front left corner ?? When I did my repairs I assumed this was a water pump, but seeing as the bracket had just bent I bent it back and got on with the repairs !

Any ideas ?

Looking at the photos again, your hub carriers (the steel linking the double wishbones) broke at exactly the same point as mine - amazed how 'brittle' they are under pressure. Scary !

 

AP1, dude glad to hear you're okay... shucks Elisa's been bad luck all last year huh? Hope things are better with the Black now...

All I can say is DAMN!!! I feel your pain. I totaled my by flipping it end over end 3 times, and it didnt look that bad.

 

I can't decide if this is a testimony to the car's fabulous rigid frame or a question mark on its handling to get you into this situation to begin with...

I've read both of your threads, Secret. Personally, I think you're a lucky man to walk away like that, and I admire your attitude on this -- a little humility in the face of an accident like this is very healthy, and your willingness to share this with us is great!
