The 4AG engine is one of the best engines to boost... I have mny memories of that engine.....

 

What I want to know is... WHAT IS UP WITH THOSE HORRIBLE SHOES?!?!?!

 

I can give you her number and you can throw hose shoes in the trash.
Also with the rest of her clothes.

but i like the AE86's with the 4AGZE 20V engine with individiual trottle bodies!!! and it stays all toyota.

wonder why toyota seemed to stop making these kind of engines?

 

The 20V head design is too hard to extract power out of.
I belive toyota began engineering the 4AG in the late 70's and became a production engine in 1983.
So it is an old design, thats one of the reasons it went ouf of production.
It is a great little motor and it is very easy to find for 100~350 bucks for a long block.

but have you ever watched Initial D The Movie. he blew up his stock engine, and his dad put in a TRD tuned rally 4AGZE. that made 240hp redlines at 12,000 rpm.!!! i wonder if they can actually tune one like that in real life???

I have a japanese video, that has a Spoon modified civic with a 11,000rpm redline!!!
