Default F22C singing away

This came out of a thread that was posted regarding the T1R-EM dual exhaust. The discussion centered around the main drawback: decel drone. I put together a short (and admittedly, amateurish) set of clips to demonstrate what I believe to be an overwhelming positive of the exhaust: the sound under full throttle at the upper end of the RPM range. I think the trade-off is worth it. I thought I'd share the clip for the benefit of anyone still considering purchasing one. I've always been very satisfied with mine and hope that future owners won't shy away due to some of the negatives that may have been mentioned in the past...

I hope others will chime in with their (positive) experiences.

Pretty cool, just wish it was longer with more downshifts

I got an error message when I clicked on the link. But, I do have a T1R dual, and I remember what it sounded like before I went boost and it brought a smile to my face everytime I hit vtech

Ack! Link fixed.
I really think the exhaust gets a bad rep. It definitely has some drone and I track my car more than I street drive, but I still think it's very tolerable. And as you pointed out, it's more than tolerable when vtec kicks in...

Thanks man. I'd love to have more footage of the car, but I spend most of my time in it... I hoard almost every pic and vid that someone else takes of the car and have manged to put this 30seconds together after "collecting" for the last two years. I'll see about putting together some in-car bits and pieces as well.

I have this exhaust. I love it. I'll probably never get another one, unless something happens to it.
Although, I never thought mine sounded that loud. But I guess I'm always hearing the car from the inside, not the outside.

When people speak of weighing the pros and cons, I think this is the biggest determining factor... and what a difference it is!
