Default Fake Brides - Spot the Diffrence

I'm not excatly sure where this thread should go so I'll chuck it here for max exposure, move it anywhere you want mods

Well I managed to get my hands on a genuine and replica Bride Vios. Along time ago my friend bought a Bride Vios off a 2nd hand seller, at the time we didn't know it was fake until another mate got a genuine Zeta 3 we noticed it was ALOT different and it started to wear down quicker as well. However I didn't know anyone with a genuine VIOS so we could never do a exact comparison. I knew the differences and could tell by looking but I wanted to get some pictures so everyone could see.

Till this date I've seen 2 different types of replicas I'm guessing they come out of different factories, I've seen about 5 Vios replica seats and it seems there's only 2 types.

Lets just say for example the one in my pictures is "Type1" and the other ones I've seen is "Type 2" I don't have any pictures of the "Type 2" but I'll try my best to explain it.

I would say "Type2" is the closer replica, it uses almost the same material as the Genuine, however what I noticed is the seat is VERY uncomfortable, tight and hard. From the looks it's identical however it's only major flat is the Glitter Backing.. now this backing is worse then the "Type1" it's basically JUST silver with afew specs of glitter here and there, type1's backing is abit closer but still not exact.

Now see below I've taken the pictures and marked the differences I can find, the Velcro bit I'm not 100% that all the brides run this different type of Velcro, however the rest should be pretty spot on.

I hope this helps and no one gets ripped of by these replicas like my friend, it sucks because he actually paid a fair amount for them as well.

I've actually tried to buy afew brides until I've taken a look at them and when I tell the seller it's fake they get quite angry.. I just hope this can clear it up for everyone so these replicas can go in the bin.

On another note.. the replica... is lighter? I guess that means it's weaker too ey

By the way, thats my new seat haha the genuine one!

As much as I like Brides the confusion with all the replicas and such is a complete turn off and makes shopping - particularly second hand - near impossible.
