Next to my DD type s

Hey guys new to s2ki. Have owned a few Hondas in my day and just recently picked up an s2000. My pride and joy was my Boosted Civic Type R replica . 336whp and 312tq tuned by xenocron. Just a few pics of her

Heres a few kills

I had her for 9 years bought it from honda brand new. Well earlier this year and last year things started breaking. Transmission, axles, then finally a rod knock. I was tired of putting money into it. I finally came to the painful decision to sell her. It was a sad time because I sold it for practically nothing because of the damage to the engine. My next ride I wanted to have something fun that I could enjoy. I also wanted to keep it in the Honda family. So I decided on an S2000.I picked up a 2001. I dont plan on any super mods. Just the simple Boltons and maybe a tune. And some cosmetics and a decent suspension. Ive been lurking on the forums doing research before i set off and found the right one. She did come with some imperfections. 1 rim has a scratch, the top had a slight tear, and the clutch does the dreaded buzz between 2-4k RPms. But on the plus the engine was really quiet an the transmission shifted very smoothly and it was entirely stock. Im happy with my purchase , but everyday miss the power of my civic.
Updated pics

Drove almost 3 hours to get her. My first "teaser" pic when i was waiting in the dealerships office

Engine was super clean

First things first had to do a tune up. All new fluids

Got her ready for her first car wash.... My RSX-S in the background!

Came out really nice

Very nice! That EP3 looks pretty sick, too. How many miles does the S have?

Congrats!

Good luck on sticking to your plan of "just simple mods".

haha. Maybe you can help me out.... Im interested in the tanabe medalion exhaust. Ive been searching for hours. With an AP1 and just an intake and exhaust is that safe to run or will it be to lean? Ive gathered as much intel as i can so far. And my conclusion is intake header exhaust and a TP can see really lean mixtures. But just for intake and exhaust is that ok on a ap1? And i think tanabe medalion is just a 60mm if Im not mistaken

Tanabe Medallions are pretty tame, and won't hurt the car at all. I found the touring version here: http://www.kamispeed.com/product-p/tb.t70040.htm

Yikes 997?!?. I found it for 841 shipped. I'm just strapped for cash at the moment after buying this car haha plus intake and still gotta register it and pay the tax on it haha. So intake and exhaust won't see dangerous lean mixture correct ?
