No Ferrari dealers around here.
348 is a sweet ass ride but like CDELENA said, it would be a toss up. Both cars have very similar performance figures. And the Ferrari is a porker compared to most of its cars....
I took one on though it wasn't a spider, and I was on my YZF600... nooooooo problem
....poor old guy thought that since he had a "Ferrari" he could beat anything....proved him wrong
But in the end as everyone would say......"But yeah he was IN the Ferrari!"...Can't argue with that

I think you've got a good chance. With a 348, you can bet either the engine or the driver is old and tired. I'd give you a 50/50 shot if you get a good launch.
Anyone remember the C&D article where they raced a 348tb (hardtop) vs. a GMC Syclone in the 1/4 mile? The Syclone won with mid-13s at 100+, but after that it pooped out while the prancing horse pranced on by. It was a great article, mainly b/c of the other comparison, which included:
1) Which holds more kegs of beer?
2) Which looks better with confederate flag front plate?
3) What looks better in the gun rack, a rifle or umbrella?

If you are scared, even the playing ground. Race him in the hills. You are sure to leave that heavy tank in the mountains. Believe it or not, I took one at the track leaving the curves. There is hope for victory!!!
As for heads-up, you better lunch at around 8K rpms and hope you get the jump!
You can still win, but take the "nothing to loose" attitude!
Good Luck and remember, "This Little S Could"
Speed with a Need.

btw here is a copy of the article with the 348tb vs. Syclone. they got a 0-60/quarter mile times of 6.0/14.5, and that's with the hardtop. you can take him, Blk01S2k!
