went India many times. the rich/poor divide is incredible. u see slums everywhere but when i stayed at the Sheraton, it cost me US$400/night. amazing... offices in Mumbai look like crap compared to the rest of the world but the rental cost is in the top5.
roads are full of potholes, bulls, tricycles, bikes, people, beggars, honking... basically, its a free for all on Indian roads.
however things are changing and perhaps this is the reason ferrari went on the publicity tour. I read from some other articles that the ferraris were specially prepped for this tour. ... cuz i dont think a factory fresh prancing horse can stand the rigours of indian roads..
