First mod
I had no plans on buying Tanabe springs (was going for Espelir's or Tein) but this set was local and SUPER cheap, so I went for it. Plus, I planned on getting an OEM front lip and I wasn't sure how much clearance I'd have with my driveway. These springs are listed as having a 0.8" drop front and rear (these are used with at least 5k miles on them). I bought an ebay special front lip and got it painted last week and will install it next week. Depending on how much driveway clearance I have after the lip install I might go lower with coils or different springs.
Big thanks to the seller (FOBangah @ vadriven.com) and his step-dad for installing for me!
Anyway, enough blab and onto the pictures.
Here are the goodies. The lip is now painted.

Front bumper clearance before the install.

Front bumper clearance after the install. About 0.75" drop.

These two images aren't that great but here they are anyway.
Front wheel before.

Front wheel after.

The obligatory finger gap gauge.
Before.

After.

Most people don't bother with this measurement but it is independent of tire size and a truer gauge of a drop.
Front before.

Front after. Again, roughly 0.75" drop.

Rear before.

Rear after.

Rear before.

Forgot to shoot a rear after!
I'll get it in the morning.
I also forgot to take a overall "before" photo so these are older photos at stock ride height. I flipped the after images in Photoshop to more closely match the "before" shots.
Before.

After.

Before.

After.

My measurements are very crude but reveal a drop close to the advertised drop. Therefore I would agree with Tanabe's claims of a 0.8" drop and not to what many people claim as being a drop of 1" or more. So far the ride actually feels softer than stock. I'm autocrossing tomorrow so I'll find out then how it really feels.
If anyone is planning on installing Espelir's ASD or Tein S-Tech springs, please do the same thing I did and show a more accurate measurement of your drop instead of just eye-balling it or using fingers. I, and I'm sure others, would really appreciate it.

Looks good man. Did you just do this today? I'm sure you'll be fine even after putting the lip on. Just have to get a little more creative getting in/out of the driveway.
