No top hats. Used the ones that were on the PSS9s. The purple piece at the top of the springs sits inside the factory top hat.

 

Figured I'd give this thread a little bump. Some things have changed... OEM fenders are back on, and I replaced the 255 RE11s with 245 AD08s all around. Here's a crappy pic for now. Hopefully a better shoot coming soon...

 

How much has the handling changed switching from 255's to 245's?

Haven't noticed any difference in handling. I think that's mainly due to the fact that AD08s run very wide. Although, I have noticed a big difference in ride comfort. Not only is the 245 a shorter tire, but the AD08s have a stiffer sidewall compared to the RE11. So they're not as comfy as the RE11s. At first, I bought a pair of 245 RE11s for the front, they didn't seem wide at all. So after some research, decided to give the 245 AD08s a shot. Their tread width is the same as the 255 RE11s.
