Who cares? As much as I love Mercedes, it's one of the cheapest MBs money can buy, and quite frankly, a POS.

If having a bottom-of-the-line Mercedes at 16 is "ridiculous" to you, what would you consider having the flagship Mercedes AMG roadster at 17?
True, I just read about the C230... what a waste of 30g

Your area looks untouched by any hurricane action. Nice cars.

it is all a matter of perspective maybe they have enough money to where a Benzo and Expedition is considered an entry level car for a 16 year old first driver car. The Benzo is actually a good choice for a first car.... almost as good as a top of the line Volvo. more safe than a civic or hyundai to be sure

I grew up in abject poverty so my 5th generation hand me down cutlass was the greatest thing ever. I do not knock the family for the cars they chose to purchase for the children but I hope that they did earn it some way or bought it themselves.

And no, I do not think they fully appreciate what they have...at 16 you would have to be the Dali Lama or comporable living sage to have the understanding of the world around them neccessary to fully appreciate what is given to you in respect to what 95% of the rest of the world actually lives in.

Enough with the age discrimination please. It is quite rude seeing how people become haters all of a sudden knowing when a teen drives a nice car. But damn, their parents can afford it, so let it be. Instead of being jealous, we should all be happy.

First let me start off by telling everyone that my father is 43 retired from the Navy and while in the navy he became an Anestisiologest. There is a lot of people in the world that just hate for no resion. Do not hate because you don't have something I cant stand people like that. I can understand someone thinking are cars are a little expensive, eventhough I don't think the same way I can see where your coming from. Spoiled is the complete opposite of what we are. I feel that I deserve everything my parents have ever given me. You might say we don't work for are stuff, but when your 16 make straight A's have a 4.5 GPA play football and baseball at the varsity level as a 9th grader and also go to state in weightlifting. I would say that takes a little work. Its not like my brothers and I are some ungrateful scumbags who don't know what the meaning of money is. I am 19 yes my parents pay for my school ect.. but I have a job and I work the stock market a little in my free time. So don't tell me I am just looking for a handout. I am in college majoring in Finance and hope to get my MBA in Investment Banking I don't just sit on my ass and spend my parents money. Even if I did do that who are you to judge me and just hate. Everyone knows that if your parents were able to buy you a nice car you would take it or would be be some idiot and turn it down and buy a beater.
