anyway. no one likes the badge [H] in Dubai.... and I would not blame the guys!! We do not have the VTEC Civic or the other super Honda's.... the only one that started to get Popular quick is the civic Type R and the Accord type R.....!!!

we do not have the accord type R in kuwait , but when i visited dubai i saw it sat in it ,etc,but we do have the civic type R!
on the honda badge, comeon!you should be proud! i know that its a problem for some people (as dubai is very close to kuwait) but it is very well respected to those who know the s2000!
yeah i think that your dealer where a bit khara! non of them knew any thing about any car! and i waited about 1 hour to tell me if they had accesories! i think we have better dealers , but still a bit khara!

We have and AutoCross event ... 8 events per year.. as You know .. Summer is SUMMER. and we only run when the weather is fine.. This pic were taken from todays autocross (4th event)... the next event will be at 9-May-2003..

I don't know how you could make it work but if you notice a TVR never has door handles, when you press the button it lowers the window and you open it from inside. However in England a car must at least, by law, have a door hadle on the drivers side, so it is a small latch under the driver's wing mirror. Don't know if you could do this but it looks awsome. I don't know if there are any snaps on the net but check out www.tvr.co.uk to get the general idea!

when you shave your handles off, you'll need to get a pop kit. this is basically a solenoid that is remote control activated and it opens the door at a touch of a button.

since most kits are battery operated, what happens if your battery dies? how would you get into your car to pop the hood to jump it?

we had a member on this board named infamous_s2000 who shaved his handles off, and his car looked great!

i really like the way the mugen wing looks with the HT. the cutout on the hood is pretty nice too.. how does it look from the underside?

I know that at least the Viper GTS has had remote door openers. I installed this in my Viper RT/10. On the GTS, should the battery fail, you would open the rear hatch (with a key, I think) and there would be a manual cable release for the driver's door just inside. You just need to get an old trunk release solenoid and adapt it to your driver's door but I'm not so sure what you'd do if your battery quit - perhaps remote battery jumper terminals in the trunk?
You can also do one for the passenger side door, too.

 

The pics remind me of when I was over in the Gulf during the liberation of Kuwait and everytime I visited Dubai for a port of call I couldn't believe how long and straight the roads were leading into the city. A street racer's paradise!
