Yup I work on the ones here at my school! Missouri University of Science and Technology. We run modded r6 engines! These things are crazy fun to drive! We won VIR last year...but had hiccups at the later events =(

i was on a team who built one when i was at UF back in 2001 and that was a great project. I think it cost well over $40,000 of funding for us to get the car built.
