off the showroom floor, you pay msrp, well, add in all the luxury tax, gas guzzler tax, etc...

SP trip is Sep 9/10 sponsored by Ferrari of Washington and ALGAR Ferrari of Philadelphia.
they rent the track for two 2 day sessions every year, and the Ferrari Club of America usually has one event a year there as well.
while Ferrari's are the main cars there, we also end up with lots of other performance cars that are the members/owners other vehicles. i have been taking my s2k there since i wrecked my 328 back in may 2000 in turn 3, and my 360 will not be here till next year (i am one of those that definitely does not have the spare cash to pay extra on the used market instead of killing time on the wait list). i have been running with the slow group so i do not spend all my time waving the faster cars by on the straights, but now with the SC i think i can hang with them....
last year there were a couple other s2k's present at one of the events, but i cannot remember who it was. when JOHEV let me try his car to get a feel for the SC before i got mine, i was telling him about it and he expressed interest in going as well, so if Hiro brings his instead of being a passenger in the 360 the whole time, that would make 3 of us....
they run 5 sessions of 20 minutes each, split into 3 run groups: white limited to 100 mph, red and blue no limits. need helmets for all groups, they usually have some to loan out. if you are in a race prep car, like the challenge 348/355/360, 333 SP, etc, you need nomex suit. fire extinguisher/fire bottle in red/blue required, white recommended. cost is $150 per day per driver, guests are something like 15 or 25, lunch and snacks are provided. they do a free safety inspection at their shop, or you have to pay about $25 for it at the track.
1st time people get an instructor in the car, once they feel you are capable, you get signed off and can go on your own or take passengers.
it is alot like the FATT sessions, but i think those cost something like 175 a day, and you get 4 track sessions and 1 sessions in a track vehicle learning how to slide/drift/recover. never been to a FATT so am not real sure what they do. if i am too far off i am sure someone who has been to one will correct me.
