I'll take my car with the extra weight and worry about improving my driving technique. Besides, the ladies hate the carbon fiber. It looks like a high school ricer. Same goes for the massive wings and angry bumble bee exhaust. Just my opinion.

I'll have my car without the rice thanks.
so despite youre opinionated "bumble bee" statements, you just described the c-west car. first off, you bought a 4 cylinder, so unless you go boost, youre gonna have that infamous 4 cylinder sound. sorry. now i know everyones entitled to their own opinion, that should be every forums motto, but dont be ignorant about it. i mean anyone thats into cars, especially japanese sports cars, and on top of that s2ks, would love the craftsmanship and science into the idea of carbon fiber. no matter where it is on the car painted or not. and who the hell mods a car with the "ladies" opinions in mind? if we did that, we'd have too much chrome, quiet exhausts, nice cd players, and comfy, less supportive seats... and im tired of hearing you rooks throw around the term "rice" like you own the show. lame, time for some new material...
sorry to jump you, and its not just you, tons of guys out there like you. just gets old after a while, but i guess without our opinions, forums wouldnt be so interesting.

I guess my car is rice... Oh well I dont really care .

I have CF mirrors, CF Side diffusers, and dry CF ASM spoiler, and a black Mugen splitter...LOL. I have no plans to paint any of the parts. Then again I am not building a show car or a car for others to admire I am building the car for me. At some point if the CF turns yellow or fades than I will probably paint it, but until then I will leave it CF

personally I like CF unpainted and painted it doesnt really matter to me. When its entire panels I would prefer matching weaves or IMO it looks off and mis-matched.

Painted CF is dumb. CF is to LOSE weight. You'll gain back some of that weight loss by painting it.

I would love a full carbon front. Though I drive a berlina I would still paint it. I like wieght reduction and clean lines. You can still have clean lines with unpainted CF in the right places. Mirrors, hood, trunk lid, hardtops, etc. I just don't think i'd like seeing a cf pattern on a fender lined up with a glossy door...

Yup!, no offense of course. In the first picture, was your car in a wreck and you got a deal on a Berlina hood or is it CF? It doesn't matter which one it is, it matters that you can't tell the difference and it's ugly. Plain and simple. We have an Aluminum hood to save weight, did everyone notice that Honda decided to paint it even though it was a weight saving manuveur? All the people that say paint adds weight that negates the weight loss of buying CF, can you tell me how much the paint on your hood weighs? Didn't think so, so stop polluting the site with your irrational hearsay. The drag what raw CF at speed vs. waxed paint is more of an issue than the ounces of weight you've added with paint. Major body panels i.e. hoods, bumpers, fenders, doors, trunks, should always be painted. Add on diffusors, splitters, canards, can go unpainted without much loss of flow and performance.

This is my opinion. A simple reflection on how my opinion counters the opinions of others that were completely stupid. Again, my opinion.
