Are you lowered? then above might apply.

Call tire rack they are normally very understanding on this kind of thing. Defects happen.

looks like wear from fender rub. Since you are lowered and on Advan RGII, maybe you went up on a driveway wrong, or it rubbed while taking a turn or something. It's not that the tire is faulty, it's that it rubs (or had rubbed)

there are dudes here running 255 up front, lowered and on stock fenders who haven't seen this before.

and if it was from rubbing, my question is just why one tire?

that doesn't look like rubbing... that looks like the tread is laminating from the tire... I would show those pictures from TireRack so they can speak to the Bridgestone rep...
