How much easyier is this then going with the oem one and modifiying it to work on the 00-01 top frames?

If I had to guesse I would say around 75-85 pounds. I never take my hardtop off so it was just dead wait back there.

Topsonline.com Vics is the guy should talk to. I paid $695 Shipped for it. OEM material top (Trilaminate Twill Weave/vinyl) is actually cheaper, around $550. The different is Trilaminate Twill Weave/vinyl = Fabric mix with Vinyl. Stayfast Canvast = 100% Fabric and it's a hell lot lighter & the color is a lot richer

Our tops are 100% pvc. Not twill vinyl or whatever you keep calling it.

Also my top is 4 years old and is still jet black, yours looks very faded. PVC/Vinyl is much easier to care for than canvas. Not trying to poop on you thread, just trying to deliver some information on the difference for those considering a true rag top.
