Default Good Mini Documentary: CWest S2000 Time Attack Car

Stumbled upon this video, hope it hasn't been posted before.

The Cwest Carbon time attack s2000 recently took the Buttonwillow Time Attack. They shocked everyone by throwing the greddy turbo kit on there! This is a good video with Gary from Design Craft and commenting on the build of the car.

What's great about this story is that they took the win, and they were just there to shake down the car. Can't wait for them to do another time attack! The car will have a lot of changes, so i hear I don't want to give away any secrets though!

Unlimited RWD

Another video on the car, with commentary from Brian Crower, driver: Tyler McQuarrie & Design Craft's Gary Castillo:

Cool flyby video with the Cwest car and a new GTR:

New video, shows the new fender flares and huge wheel/tire combo. RPF1s with 275 tires!!! I believe they are running the T618Z now with a external wastegate.

yeah pretty fast! Gary says in the video, he's confident that the car can do 2 seconds faster AT LEAST after they work on it more.

I think they're trying to get more power out of it and also add wider wheels/tires. Some s2ki members run wider wheels and tires on their street cars than what the cwest car had!! It should be really fast the next time it does a time attack!

Awesome car!

If that's a stock kit making 300hp why would they need larger injectors and an upgraded fuel system A walbro and the supplied 550cc injectors can easily support 300whp

Me thinks sandbagging...

its a stock kit with larger injectors + fuel system, okada projects coils, head gasket and BC cams/retainers, etc. They boosted up and decided to tune w/ the AEM EMS.

They are still running the greddy manifold, T518Z, intercooler, RS bov, and amazingly the downpipe that came with the kit. The piping is even greddy, just cut and rewelded the pipes that came w/ the kit. Besides the fabricated V mount, it's pretty much the kit that the general consumer gets.
