i think it might look a little better if you put it lower, like attached i to the bottom of the bumper, then moved it more towards the center hole on your bumper and maybe angled it a little bit to be a little bit closer to flush to the front of the bumper rather than the side. Good idea though on the custom mount.

I like it.
I made one for my Accord a while back, but I don't have the front plate on now.

The only beef I have with it is that you can see the bottom edge when the plate is on.

Props for making it with your own two hands.

that ricks one is a pretty good idea, probably wouldnt take much to make, might try fabbing that up. As for moving it down lower, its an option, the goal was to keep that port open for either fog lights, or ive got a oil cooler that would fit nicley in that area as well

In VA it's legal to have it in the windshield. I personally heard a judge uphold that in James City County.
