Default Got my beater car today....

$800 from a friend. Should be fun in the snow.

I'm getting a new steering wheel for it. This one is toast

I'm gonna take the fender off and see how well I can bend this back into place.

MR2's are sweet. I bought one last year as a beater car myself. The 4AGE engine loves to rev.

I only wish I had your beater. My winter arsenal includes an 82' Civic hatch with 86K original miles or an 87' Cutlass with rust holes and a new noise everyday. I usually end up in the Buick since it is an auto and I spend a lot of time in traffic. Still, thank God spring is here!

So it looks like an S2000 and a Celica in the driveway. Both nice cars.

So is everyone else's beater this old/cheap ($800)?

Hey, not a bad deal for $800. Good going. Recently I purchased an 88 Merkur XR4TI to get me through the really terrible months (which it did quite well) Nonetheless, as mentioned above, I'm tired of squeeks, rattles and anonymous leaks, and am glad that Spring is here.
