What is the advantage/disadvantage of setting VTEC point earlier/later? You got any dyno chart to show??

Thanks

How can a VTEC-controller give more hp?
It only changes the on set point for the high cams, doesn't it?

I've yet to hear of any hp improvments by changing the set point.

A V-AFC controller does two things.

How much do one of those run? What is involved in installing it?

Cheapest I've seen online is $300, and up to $450. Don't pay over $350.

The problem with installing is that there is no harness for the S2000. If you decide to install it it will all be spliced, or you'll have to make a custom harness.

What does it tie into, does it piggy back on the ECU? I imagine once it is installed you must tune it through a series of dyno tests to get the best fuel/air mixture? (Sorry about all the questions, kinda new at all these things).

Yes, and Yes. I know that others here have experience with them, and may be able to go into greater detail.
