Those white RPF1s on the evo X are powder coated. He took it to the track without the protectant, raced, and now the brake dust is baked in and wont come off. The RGIIs are oem white and it stays fresh everyday. Both their cars daily race brakes.

Looks like I will have to try that stuff this year. Also, my wheels were powder coated not painted.
