Here is a video of me and my buddy Martin battling with similarly modded cars. I'm in the yellow stock engine AP1 Pacman Build with better suspension, while and he is in the Silver AP2 with more power from an ems but with megan racing suspension. I set my ride height a bit too low so my rear was rubbing a bit. Track temp was under 30 degrees all day. The mod list is in the video description.

Great driving and great video, what kind of shift knob are you using?

 

After the video, if you look in the menu that pops up on YouTube, I found this video. Fantastic AP1 stock vs AP2 stock vs AP1 tuner race. AP2 really trashed the AP1.

Really like how the two cars had different setups. You could see the AP2 pull away and then you close the gap in the turns.


Remember this is also the JAP version on the AP2 so engines did not change.

This is a good point... A lot of the debate is the difference between the 2.0 9K engine and the 2.2 8K engine...and this video doesn't address that...

Why is the bumper fitment so bad on the yellow one?

Did the gearing change, though? It's likely the AP2 transmission, but curious if it has the USDM or JDM reduction gear as well as the taller 6th gear.
