Yes, an no. If pictures are posted in something like a gallery, opinions are wanted. Most just don't want to hear that their car looks silly; even if it does. Because it is attractive to them, by default everyone else should have to same taste. It's like that Evasive thread with the black AP2 a few threads up. Beautiful engine bay, cobbled together exterior with no flow or form. It's expected around here that because the car had money thrown at it, everyone will love it. Wrong. But I agree with finding some beauty in everything, although I fail to believe that there is such a thing as an unchangeable list of things one doesn't like. I used to hate the CR lip, now look at me.
I just find it a toxic way to think in general even if it is just an internal dialogue. Don't assume because someone says something positive they just mindlessly love everything about something and don't have any critiques. If you want your opinion to actually influence others it is absolutely possible, but it is a lot more complicated than just telling them everything you don't like about something.
However, we have our own way of thinking, posting and assorted. You may assume too much when attempting to chide me by saying that I blindly think any positive think means complete like, and I may come off too harsh because I speak either positive or negative (in the constructs of posting). But I don't actually believe that anything I say can or will affect anybody one way or the other. Nor do I really care to. Good talk, Andrew.

It's like listening to music or watching a movie and going around telling everyone around you what you would do differently without them asking you. They are just empty statements with no consequences one way or the other. There is no reason to believe that just because someone posted up something publicly means they are asking for others opinions. It's like going to a live performance and yelling suggestions at the performer. I just find it a toxic way to think in general even if it is just an internal dialogue.
