Well,
Back in late June I found out that I was going to be a dad. After the weight of the news settled in by October, my wife thought that dumping the s2k for a more practical car was in order. I agreed, provided that it was as fast as the s2k. I bought my second bmw, a 97 M3 4 door. It's a great car, although not as fun as my s2k.
Anyway I thought I would return and show off my new baby girl, as I've met some great s2k owners here (I think it was predecessor board), although I'm not sure if some of you regulars from early last year are still here.

Her name is Annabelle Elizabeth, was born on 2/22, weighed in at 7lbs 5oz, was 21" long, and is the first native Texan in both families. She is two days old in the pic, and already looks very different. I am so psyched. I still love cars, but she kind helps put things in perspective.
hasta,

Congratulations she is beautiful.
It shows that the Stook is only the 2nd best thing in life! I have been through the baby thing and they are now old enough to allow me to have a Stook - there is light at the end of the tunnel!

just a rambling story from an old fart...when i was young and foolish i bought a 15 year old porsche race car and drove it around town as it was no good for anything else....i got married and we decided to have a kid...the old porsche was sold and replaced with a stationwagon[an ancestor of the minivan for you kids in the audience]...25 years later,i couldn't be prouder or happier with my son[and a daughter to boot]....the old porsche racer???shit, it sold at auction in switzerland for a cool 850 thousand us dollars.[chassis RS5500049,christies;geneva,now in a private collection.]...sometimes you eat the bar and sometimes, why the bar, he eats you....

Congrats Jeff,
She looks beautiful. Alot of my coworkers are have had their firstborns within the last year. From what I've seen, it must be a wonderful feeling. Their "perspectives" have been realigned too. I wish you and your family a great future.
