Most cars with a targa top have the opening start at the main pillar behind the driver. I think if you cut the roof back more, it'd look better. The forward curve of the top ruins the look. If the top went just straight up with no forward curve, I think it would look better.

In the end, though, I'm not sure the proportions would work properly. Most cars with a targa also have slightly forward-canted B-pillars to make the gap fairly small. The gap on the S2000, as shown, is already pretty big.

 

My reading comprehension skills aren't what they used to be. It's definitely interesting, but I think it looks better without it.

 

Wtf? I like it lol. I think with some more mods it can look so much better. And for those who didn't read, his oem Hardtop was damaged from shipping so he had no other choice.

it's not making my balls tingle but it's not bad! if nothing else it's unique, nobody else is rocking one of these. i also agree that cutting it back a bit further might make it look more natural. right now it does just kinda look like a hard top that's been cut in half.
