Default Help! *J's Racing 60RS - pre FX models.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wfy9KKhjltk

whats up guys, i was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me. My 60RS pre FX models has been ratteling for a year now and i never botherd getting it fixed (even tho aj-r told me to take it over to mike to get it checked out before we can try taking anything furthur) i never had time which is why i made this video... (mike/aj-r) you might remember me, im the guy wth the Black ap2 Mugen wheels/top ..i got the J's from you guys and i had called you about a year ago complaining about the rattelingggg...

well i took it to spugen becuase i was getting my top adjusted and they took a look at it and said "its broken from the inside, all Ti exhausts do this" but this cant be normal, i took it to 3 other exhaust shops and they all said that "its broken from the inside, somthing broke in ur rez".. how is that possible! 1.5k for an exhaust almost and it breaks?...

the noise shuts down as soon as u put ur foot on the exhaust and push down, as u can see from the video it has this annoying very loud buzz like somthing is ratteling/loose... ive had it up on a jack and dont see anyyyyyything touching (even the lower bar has clearance) i dont know where the hell the noise is comming from, when you push up on the rez it shuts up, if you pur ur foot on the exhaust and push down, it shuts up.. i realllllllllllllllly dont think somthing is broken.. i attached a video link above for you guys 2 check it out...

please excuse my car, its MUD.. lollll she will be getting a full detail soon!..

HELPPPPPPP MEEEEEE!!!!!

I don't think the gallery is the place for this.. but not sure where it needs to go. I think you should PM this video to Mike and not make a thread for it.

Dude I just fixed this problem today. I have a J's 60RS and it rattled like a mofo when I first started it up. The problem was the back hanger on the muffler is hitting against the rear subframe.

Solution: Take the triangle looking rubber mount and put it on the rear hanger. Take the oval rubber mount and put in on the front. Problem solved. The triangle rubber mount moves the hanger far enough away from the rear subframe that it won't vibrate.

but i will go check out the hangers, another member told me 2 check out the hanger as well... i hope 2 God it works..

i was going to sell my exhaust "damaged" for 600$.. wow that would have been terrible if it was only a hanger problem... weeel see..

Hey.. yeah the rear hanger is too soft for the 60RS, try using either the J's exhaust hanger or do what Mr Z said.. it should fix your problem..

I dont think anything is broken in your exhaust

Mike

I telling you it is definitely the rear hanger, unless your bolts are loose. I don't hear my rattle at all anymore. Sound is so good especially with the Berk TP
