Meth, I like where you are going with your design and layout, but I don't know if I'm feeling the Blue... that's why I like prheemo's, the Silver and Red look classy.

 

I see soem easy additions i could make to mine... i ended up staying up last night so I could submit it before it was late.. i finally was like thats all I got time for by tomorrow..

I'm really suprised im the only one to use a world map though since it is an International Owners Association... for those of you who are blind its in the button like a globe ...

I'm not real happy with my logo.. some minor tweaks would fix that... also any icon logos could be used but the text simplifies it for me.

The background I have will extend to however long it needs to be with the dead space on the black bars being repeatable for extension while allowing the hidden background to just show its hidden parts as the menu grows to whatever length. slight color variations were considered and a button on the rollover state would change color basically like it does now. I feel navigation should be kept compact and not scattered everywhere or with too many things going on at once. The background is busy enough.

 

I like the one meth has I just don't feel its s2ki relative enough. It looks good but seems too generic.

I'm still liking prheemo's out of the others the best too.

 

haha, yeah, i am in the same boat as you.

i started at like 11 last night, i caught your globe. i'm curious to see yours expanded as i don't quite get it cuz there is no seemless area in the graphic, unless the graphic extends from the right end down.

i got sloppy at the end too. if they don't start voting, we should do our revisions. i really have to redraw and shrink my icons, and add background overlays. haha, this is starting to feel my actual job.

I couldn't think of a good word to use and not sound like I was bashing... but if your from the artworld you understand constructive criticism.. I've gotten my fair share of it.. haha...

Yea my background extends all the way over. its just hidden.. and the black bars have blank space to extend all the way across as dead space

I would like to tweak mine some more. I'm so used to doing print work here at my job doing web stuff sometimes throws me in a loop.

I definately see some talent in this thread though!

 

haha, trust me, the nastiness has been directed my way in the past. there is really nothing that can phaze me nowadays. i've heard it all, sometimes deservingly so .
laziness is a bad habit of mine from time to time. especially when you do this all day at work, then have to do it some more when you get home.

yeah, i see some game in this thread also!!! that is good, it gives me some motivation to get off my lazy ass.
