Default help finding pic of insulated stock air box

not to long ago someone posted a pic of there engine bay where they had some sort of insulating tap on there stock air box. been looking for the pic for a while and no luck. wanted to see what was used and ask op if it helps

im sure someone will find it in 2mins while i found nothing searchin all day

where was that insulated foil purchased ? i was told insulation material was to keep heat in vs keep heat out . well thats what the lowes associate said. any insite to if this diy mod does help keep heat out ?

2nd law of thermodynamics states that heat transfers from hot to cold. Hence why ice cubes melt at room temperature. Any type of insulation applied to the box will help reduce inside temperatures.

Heat Transfer = [(Area)/(Resistance)][Temp. Difference]

So basically the greater the Resistance the lower the Heat Transfer.
