i love the sound of this exhaust, deep down low then opens up when vtec kicks in.... it's not crazy loud.. you can still hear the motor even after installing this exhaust.... it fits perfect and looks perfect in my oppinion....and i've gotten a lot of compliments on it...

i know the horse power numbers for the HKS exhaust is not good but is just sounds so bad ass.

the sound sold me when i heard it

listen to them both and see what you like better. no matter what exhaust you get your not going to get a noticable about of HP

there has been no proven power loss... the only one that showed loss there was an explination of it...

the guy said that the rear resonator was cut therefor creting less backpressure and causing some of the power loss, also he had a cai that supposidly also took away some power from his car.....

my only mod at the moment is this exhaust, and i haven't felt any different... i ran my friend with an invidia exhuast and 4ig intake and we were dead even the whole time... so that in itself should prove that there is no difference with this exhuast..... even if he only had like 5 extra rwhp which he would or probalby had with the intake he would of slightly pulled ahead which he did not.....

I'd go with the Spugen for another reason...they have a proven track record around here and great customer service. you can't go wrong

I guess I will go with Spugen.
I was leaning more towards HKS because it is more well known respectable company but they don't do much for the S.
I have my mind set on the Sp

actually, a lot of guys running the hks with f/i have been making good amounts of power. everyone says their is a power loss, but their isn't enough proof.
