Took my cover off the car tonight and look what I found.
F### there are some a-holes in this world.
You have something nice and there is always someone who will ruin it for you.
I had at least a dozen finger-prints on the window glass but the officer said he did not have time to dust the finger-prints but at least he took the report, I mean heaven forbid he do his job.
But the starnge part of this whole thing is they didn't take anything but the remote to open the gate at my apartment..........
Sorry to freak out but I know you guys understand, thanks for letting me vent.

Dam man sorry, exact same thing happen to me, similiar cut and all they took was my cd's and gate remote, hmmm funny

Damn, some people these days.

 

The officer didn't take prints? Isn't that "Obstruction of Justice" or something like that on his part? That's a bunch of BS. Granted, the odds of fingerprints actually determining the offender is small, but that's still his responsibility. I would've asked to speak to his superior and made sure that it was done. Then, I would ask for a copy of the report in a couple of weeks and make sure that they actually ran the prints for analysis.

Assholes Sorry to see something like this happen to your S, this type of thing terrifies me because like you said, when people see that you have something nice that they dont often times they will try to ruin it out of envy. Its a sad world ...


-offtopic: Would insurance cover a Hard Top as "repair" for that damage?

 

Sorry to hear that Vince. Looks like they had bigger fish to fry by taking your gate remote. Possibly breaking into homes and take much more... Hope your insurance will cover it.

It's probably something you could discuss with your agent. You could get a quote for replacing the soft-top, and get a check for that amount and use that money to buy a hard-top instead.

 

If someone does ever slash my top god forbid I would kill them, but if it did happen i think i would be convinced to go to a HT i would love to put a black HT on my car now but not enough $$$ Oh well...

Speaking of assholes I came back from lunch today to find Mike ( a forge engineer) at our plant outside replacing his rear tire on his van because some asshole slashed it...

This world is getting sickening, I'm going back to the motherplanet with my S to live happily ever after.
