Default Home smoked diffusers in 15 mins

I took out the orange part of the readlight and boiled a large pot of water with 3/4 of a bottle of RIT dye #15 black. Heated it to a simmer and put the plastic in for 15 mins and let dry, the result is amazing, but I'm not sure if I am going to leave it cleared out or put these on. I am also painting the inside trim like Kodokan_4's , Berlina to match the car...
This is where I need help, will someone pm me their email, my account has not opened as a Member yet, so you will have to post them here for me......

They might be too red.

Cops have a sore spot for red or blue lights on anything but their own car!

You may be better off using JDM style (start out clear/white) to self-smoke.

On the other hand, they may be amber enough to get away with it. It's hard to tell.

I see what you mean, it was worth a shot now we all know, Pete, what do you think about painting all the backing Body color, I mean even behind where the diff goes (chrome) and use orange bulbs?
