two options IMO...

1) bling it w/ HRE, iForged, and any other multi-piece wheel
2) performance w/ any good racing one-piece wheel (bbs, volk, oem porsche, etc)

HREs are better than VOLKS in all categories.

HREs can be had lightweight as well..

(19x10 just 17-19lbs)

Also, most high horsepower cars dont want light rims....traction is lost with light rims.

Please explain how HRE's are "better" in all categories than Volks.

Hell, HRE buys their wheel rims from the same place Kinesis and all the other 3 piece American wheel makers get them from. All HRE really makes is the center section.

HRE's are mostly for show. The track guys use Kinesis and Fikse mostly.

The reason Hre's and other rims in the same class are so expensive is not because they are the best quality in the world. while they are of very high quality and very high build standards you are paying for the fact you can call them and order anything you want any way you want it. perfect example. i wanted Volks for my M3. Sf winning's to be exact. when i tried to order the wheels i wanted. 1 they didn't have the right offset for the M3 so i was screwed there. so i said ok i want the LE37 Top Secret edition. i was then told that they don't make the TS version in my offset's. now mind you the only thing different between the Top Secret LE's and the normal ones are the shade of gold's are different in the paint and one has a Top Secret Sticker on them. thats it two things. But i could not order them because they don't make them in my offset.....BUT i could get regular gold Le37's. thats 100% bullshit. they can't paint my regular ones TS gold. so i said them and called HRE and got the rim i wanted painted in the exact color i decided on, which ended up being Alpine White to match my car. couldn't do that with any volks. the Simple point is you can call HRE and say you want a 10" rim painted hot pink and you going to get it. your not going to get a no we can't do that. thats what you pay for......

Hre makes rims that are made specificly for track use. they are the C series. they use much lighter materials in the rims including Ti in some of the pieces. Hre does not cater to american sports car nor Japanese cars. their main target market is to high end European cars and Suv's. Last year Hre's Top sales as far as what name car's they built rims for in 04 was BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. Lamborigini and ferrari followed as did a few other Euro cars names. the first non Euro name was Lexus then cadilac of course for Escalade....
HRE's does cater to american sport and japanese cars. Look at their website and tell me it does not show they make wheels sizes/offsets for these cars.

http://www.hrewheels.com/ShowRoom/

NSX, CTS, EXT, Escalade, C5, Z06, C4, Camaro, Yukon, Suburban, Viper, Cobra, Navigator, Expedition, Thunderbird, S2000, all Lexus almost, RX7, 350z, Celica. That list shows they do cater to american and japanese cars. Yes their target maybe European cars, because european cars are more expensive and they figure those who can afford BMW, Ferrari, Lambo, Jags, etc can afford their wheels. Wheels" it'd be "HRE European Wheels". Same thing with Volk, they sold most of their wheels towards, honda, toyota, nissan....but of course they made sizes/offsets for other makes.

You can argue, hey HRE just put those list of cars because they share the same profile size as Euro cars. The fact is HRE put it on the site so they don't single the wheels to only European cars or else they lose a market that can possibly grow.
