lol.. i don't see many autocross national champs putting such goofy wings on there rides.. maybe instead of trying so hard with spoilers you should focus more on your driving.

You're not looking in the right places, then. Just a quick google search:









While there is no doubt that the driver is holding the car back and not the other way around, these bigass monstrosities are not unique in the Street-Prepared, Prepared, and Modified classes.

You seem to be mistaken in your impression that the Stock classes are all that race in SCCA Solo II. Such spoilers are illegal in Stock classes, it has nothing to do with the drivers' choice. You'll see them on plenty of other cars where its not illegal.

For example, here is B Mod national champion Tom Saunders and his "goofy wing."


And another national champion, in X Prepared.
