The class rules say it can be up to 10 inches from the existing bodywork, so I made it just under 10 inches. If it's overkill, I have enough aluminum sheet to make a shorter one, or I can adjust the angle of attack.

Should be good for 20 to 30 off the top speed! hell, why not just thro a drag chute on it.lol!
