I was pretty bummed when I had to fish a little birdy out of my grill.

 

Sucks to see. I hit a cat awhile back because the damn thing went one way then doubled back into my bumper...but I was only going 35 so no damage besides dead cat

Man was the Raccon on steriods, or did you knock the sledge hammer out of his hands when you hit him!!! Sorry for the incident man I've been fortunate enough not to hit anything yet. Way to go by not swerving could have been your whole car then.

I think the racoon was pregnant. It was huge. Thought it was a dog at first because of its size! I felt bad when i hit it, then saw my front and felt worse.

I have no idea if i want to try something different or just get another front bumper. Either way painting it is going to suck!!! I am thinking of going back to oem front and leaving the rear end wide.

That cat thing sucks. There is no way I would get that thing out. I would take it to someone.

 

Let me get this straight...you hit a raccoon at 85mph and there is no blood??

 

i say man this so possible with our lowered cars and scares me when night driving...

 

My friend hit a deer head-on going 45mph, but the front didn't look nearly as bad as your S. Granted you were going nearly double the speed, but that racoon is probably 1/4th of the deer's mass.

Anyway...glad you're ok.
