Yeah, not to mention my deductible is $1000!!! My insurance was pretty low considering my age and the car, only $230/month...I can only imagine what is going to happen now! And thank you for the sympathy, the car is in my driveway right now and everytime I glance at it I feel so empty...

I dont think they will "total" it. It seems like the engine didnt get damaged and the frames are ok.

The S2K is hard to drive in the rain, I usually drive like grandma in the rain.

That's not toooo bad, certainly not a total. Looks like 1 to 3 months in a good shop and you should get it back just like new. Shouldn't run more than 10 or 12 thousand.

Now is a good time to consider if you want to nose, deck and shave it since it is getting painted. Push for a complete paint job. If the insurance says no, sometimes the shop will do it all because it is actually easier. Also, do you want to change wheels and TIRES? Open a dialogue with the shop.

Cry a little and learn to drive more cautiously. You have had an early warning on the road of life and should be able to learn from it and do better in the future.
